OSHO: The Journey of Being Human (OSHO Life Essentials)

Is It Possible to Find Real Happiness in Ordinary Life?

Amazon;  Barnes & Noble;  Indiebound;  Other Sources;  eBooks;  The Series

Man is a bridge, says Osho, between the animal and the divine – and our awareness of this   dual aspect of our nature is what makes us human. It is also what makes us restless, full of conflict, so often at the crossroads of selfishness and generosity, of love and hate, frailty and strength, hope and despair. The Journey of Being Human looks into how we might embrace and accept these apparent contradictions, rather than trying to choose between them, as the key to transforming each twist and turn of life’s journey into a new discovery of who we are meant to be.

The Osho Life Essentials series focuses on the most important questions in the life of the individual. Each volume contains timeless and always-contemporary investigations and discussions into questions vital to our personal search for meaning and purpose. The Osho Life Essentials series focuses on questions specific to our inner life and quality of existence, for example: Is it possible to have an authentic spirituality without a belief in God? What is meditation and how does it work? What can I do as an individual to make the world a better place?

OSHO: The Book of Secrets -112 Meditations….

112 Meditations to Discover the Mystery Within

Comes with DVD with an original OSHO Talk.

Order:  Amazon  Barnes & Noble Indiebound Other Sources  eBook

Hardcover: 1328 pages, Publisher: St. Martin’s Griffin; Har/DVD Re edition, Language: English, ISBN-13: 978-0312650605,

In this comprehensive and practical guide, the secrets of the ancient science of Tantra become available to a contemporary audience for the first time. Confined to small, hidden mystery schools for centuries, and often misunderstood and misinterpreted today. Tantra is not just a collection of techniques to enhance sexual experience. As Osho shows in these pages, it is a complete science of self-realizatoin, based on the cumulative wisdom of centuries of exploration into the meaning of life and consciousness. Tantra-the very word means “technique”-is a set of powerful, transformative tools that can be used to bring new meaning andjoy to every aspect of our daily lives.

These 112 methods are for the whole of humanity-for all the ages that have passed, and for all the ages that have yet to come. I will go on describing each method from as many angles as possible. If you feel any affinity with it, play with it for three days. If you feel that it fits, that something clicks in you, continue it for three months. “These meditation techniques will not mention any religious ritual. No temple is needed, you are quite enough of a temple yourself. You are the lab; the whole experiment is to go on within you. This is not religion, this is science. No belief is needed. Only a daringness to experiment is enough; courage to experiment is enough. Life is a miracle. If you have not known its mystery, that only shows that you do not know the technique for how to approach it.” —Osho

The God Conspiracy – from superstition to superconsciousness

I saw this funny billboard in Manhattan last week – another good reason to stop praying :)
While this is done with funny intentions, Osho has given some more profound arguments in “The God Conspiracy” by Osho.  This book is one of Osho’s last series of talks, summarizing essential points of his teachings and insights from over 30 years in seven chapters. Reading these insights can give you a very deep experience and understanding why the issue of a ‘god’ or ‘no-god’ is so important. The book is available in print and eBook format for all readers and application formats.  Mores here

OSHO: The Mind (OSHO Singles eBooks)

eBook $0.99      Kindle  Nook  iBook  Kobo

The Mind: a beautiful servant, a dangerous master

Osho analyses the function of the human mind in connection with meditation. Responding here to a question related to a space of ‘no-mind’ or mindfulness he says: “meditation covers a very long pilgrimage. When I say “meditation is witnessing”, it is the beginning of meditation. And when I say “meditation is no-mind,” it is the completion of the pilgrimage. Witnessing is the beginning, and no-mind is the fulfillment. Witnessing is the method to reach the no-mind. Naturally you will feel witnessing is easier. It is close to you. But witnessing is only like seeds, and then is the long waiting period. “
